A stable 15-residue peptide derived from a protein in gastric juice, used to study angiogenesis and tissue-repair kinetics.
BPC-157 is a research reference standard used to investigate angiogenesis, fibroblast migration, and tendon-to-bone healing kinetics in cell-culture and rodent models. The pentadecapeptide's stability under acidic conditions distinguishes it from many other peptide standards.
