Selank

Also known as Tuftsin analog TP-7
Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro · 751.88 g/mol

A synthetic tuftsin analog extended with Pro-Gly-Pro, studied for GABAergic and neuroimmune signaling.

Selank is built on the immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin with the same Pro-Gly-Pro stabilising tail used in Semax. Published work describes modulation of GABA-A receptor expression and inhibition of enkephalin-degrading enzymes, which stabilises endogenous enkephalin levels. Its tuftsin backbone also gives it documented effects on interleukin expression, which is why it appears in both the anxiolytic and the neuroimmune literature.
