Growth-hormone secretagogue

Ipamorelin

Synthetic pentapeptide

A selective ghrelin/GHS-R1a agonist studied for growth-hormone-pulse research with minimal cross-activity at cortisol/prolactin pathways.

Ipamorelin selectively activates the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a) without measurable activity at receptors associated with cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH release. That selectivity is the experimental signature distinguishing it from earlier secretagogues such as GHRP-2 and GHRP-6.

Common research areas

  • GHS-R1a selectivity assays
  • GH-pulse / secretagogue research
  • Comparative receptor-binding studies
